Zen Chic Pattern Giveaway
The lovely and talented Brigitte Heitland, Zen Chic fabric and pattern designer, has generously offered two of her patterns to our readers. Yay!
We have created an Orange Brick Kona Bundle to complete the pattern with a Zen Chic Fat Eighth pack. We've chosen some suggestions of colors to use as the solid background that coordinate with the Strawberry and Mauve Fat Eighth Packs of Zen Chic - just in case orange isn't your color. The bundle includes 3.5 yards of a Kona solid and the white for the bricks. If you purchase both the Kona bundle and the Zen Chic fabric from us, we'll give you free US shipping or half price international shipping!
Leave us a comment about what patterns of Brigitte's that you like or what Kona color you'd pair with her fabric to be entered to win the patterns. Giveaway ends Saturday July 2.

I love love LOVE the orange brick pattern! and I love it in orange but might be tempted toward the green...
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I am positive that chocolate brown would work or if I just have the munchies!
ReplyDeleteI like the pillow with the zig zag and a quilt that I think is called White Labyrinth. And your Kona stack is beautiful especially the one on the bottom (aqua?)
ReplyDeleteI love that Stony Snippets quilt pattern. However, I like anything she has. What a great new entry into the fabric design world.
ReplyDeletethx for the chance to win.
I like the White Labyrinth pattern.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to pick only one Kona color. I'd probably go with Salmon or Jade Green.
I'd have to flip a coin to decide.

Definitely the Swiss Bag with all shades of turquoise/teal - yum!
ReplyDeleteMy computer is not really cooperating with that website so I can't see the names but I love that quilt pattern that had all the white and tan with just a few prints thrown in there.
ReplyDeleteI love the White Labyrinth pattern, maybe with Wasabi green.
ReplyDeleteturquoise and browns are good for me.
ReplyDeleteThe swiss bag with hot pink and black

I love Juggling Summer and Take Me Home. i also like the Swiss Bag and would try to match the purples and blues in the fabrics as these are the colours that I really like. Although having seen Orange Brick I would like to see how it looks.

I am really liking the look of the White Labyrinth Quilt, but I'd probably base it in Kona Glacier and add some blues and greens.
ReplyDeleteI love the straight form pillow and the take me home bag. I love the swiss bag too! in black w/ lime green. thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love the Orange Brick pattern. It's so fresh and modern. I love Brigitte's style and aesthetic. I thought her booth really stood out from the crowd at Spring Quilt Market (just by looking through photos on Flickr). While orange is one of my all-time favorite colors, I think the amethyst would be beautiful, too :)
ReplyDeleteOrange Brick is wonderful! I would like to see it done in Kona Tomato! ooh delightful! Not too much of a change.. Orange to red..but enough to make it coordinate with my house.
ReplyDeleteI love that orange brick too - wonder what it would look like with black and white family photos in the bricks. Might make a great 50 year weeding anniversary present for parents - hmmm ...

I had a little trouble navigating the Zen Chic site (prob my crappy computer!) but I saw a zig zaggy pillow I liked the looks of! I like the Swiss bag as well, a simple look, like a tote, but I love the added zipper. Has a bowling bag-esque feel that I guess I like - who knew!
ReplyDeleteI like the White Labyrinth Quilt, but would probably use red instead of orange. All of her patterns look so fresh and clean.
ReplyDeleteThe site wouldn't load the specific info about the patterns, but I pored over the gorgeous pictures. My favorite is the quarter log cabin (or bento box). I might use a stronger color, like paprika, but I can't be sure...the example on the website is simply beautiful. Thanks for the giveaway.

ReplyDeleteI loved the orange brick pattern when I saw glimpses of it at quilt market. I think I'd like to make it using a gold background solid. Zen Chic style is stunning and I'm a big fan of everything I've seen so far!

ReplyDeletethe Swiss bag must be made with red fabric.
ReplyDeleteI love love love that orange brick pattern, it's great in orange but I think it would also look lovely in a grey or a natural linen
ReplyDeleteI love love love the orange brick quilt the best, but the Circles around quilt is a close second!
